PHOTOS: MAN DEAD AS FLOOD TAKES OVER PORTHARCOURT

The heavy rainfall in Port Harcourt, Rivers state has led to the death of a trader, even as the city is heavily flooded.



Reports have it that the petty trader in the famous mile one market was said to have been electrocuted in his house at Uyo street, due to the fact that his house was flooded while electrical appliances were on.

With many left homeless, residents of Port Harcourt City said the flooding is caused by the ” sand-filling of the Eastern by-pass water way.
